ALICE ACTON IS AN AUSTRALIAN MULTI-DISCIPLINARY ARTIST LIVING IN MELBOURNE.

She predominantly plays with Paint & Photography, the latter taking focus in this current season of life. Alice’s body of work highlights her affinity with women and mothers & spans across both digital and analog mediums where she dabbles in the realms of portraiture, documentary, still life, fashion and art. Using shape and her distinct style of composition in both mediums to capture subjects, Alice delivers a look that is more art and abstract than the standard.

Her visual storytelling is often an ode to the femme formé and the unique transformative journey from maiden to mother that the woman traverses. She peppers her love of food, fashion and design throughout, honing her skillset across subjects and applications. Alice’s ability to connect with brands and develop their individual visual language is a talent she continues to refine, and has become an important part of her practice.
